They were then laid aside for thrity five years. Synopsis: The book's dust jacket notes that these memoirs of John Glassco's sojourn in literary Paris were started in 1928, and substantially completed from notes in 1932-3. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. The attached scan gives a better idea of condition. The dust jacket is not price-clipped and is also in very good condition, with fresh colours and just one small chip at the top of the spine area. The yellow cloth covers are fresh, with just a bit of wear at tips and corners. There is a former owner's name on the front free end paper, but no other marks or wear. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. Toronto & New York: Oxford University Press, 1970.
